What makes iOS or OS X crappy? I have to assume you have never used either. I have used Windows up to 8.1, Android up to 5.1, and several Linux distros, and I personally find iOS and OS X both to be smoother, more stable, and more reliable than any other OS I have ever used. Sure, Windows, Linux, and Android may offer more customization and a bit more flexibility in some ways, but I no longer care about those things the way I used to. I was an Android/Windows fanboy for years because I loved being able to root, rom, and otherwise customize my experience, but eventually I stopped being interested in those things and started being interested in stability and simplicity, so I started using different devices. What makes the things I enjoy about my devices so shitty compared to the things you enjoy about yours? Should people only be allowed to use a certain kind of OS or device with certain features? Should we all value the same things you value in hardware and software design? Does it bother you that people are willing to spend their money paying for a brand rather than just the bare minimum? If so, guess I’ll be trading my Nikes for Skechers and my Ford for a bicycle. I’ll turn in all my jewelry while I am at it, then go get some plastic or cheap metal replacements from the local Wal-Mart. I wouldn’t want to spend my money in a way other than what you dictate is the right way, since that would obviously *directly affect* your life in such a negative way. I couldn’t bear to make you suffer by buying something *I* want instead of something *you* would want. I am sure you’ve never paid more for something just because you like the brand or the way it looks over another option, right? Nah, you wouldn’t do something like that. That would make you a hypocrite.
