Abandoned railroad bridge

Townsend has two abandoned wooden railroad bridges and neither are anything like the one in the photo. The ones in Townsend are trestle bridges, but the one in the photo is a through truss bridge. Trains in Townsend only ran on the top of the bridge while the one in the photo has the tracks running through it instead. There’s a single track bridge similar to this one on the same line (Greenville Branch) in Ayer that crosses the Nashua River but it too is very different.
