Well, I wouldn’t say it’s booming, and the economy is definitely based on where you are. For example, the three C’s: Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati are all pretty exciting places with a decent cost of living. I live in Cleveland, and while I don’t quite do so well for myself, you could get by very comfortably on 30-40k a year here (whereas, say in NYC and LA that’s chump change). You’re going to want to stay away from Youngstown and Toledo. I’m not too educated on southern Ohio, but it seems to be mostly full of college towns. Are you looking to go to school in a city or college town? What sort of tuition range are you looking for?
