It’s not HDR images that you hate. It is over processed HDR images that you hate, like the one I posted. You have probably seen a thousand HDR images and loved them and had no idea they were HDR. There are some lighting situations where you cant even get a usable shot without it. In fact the current versions of Photoshop and Lightroom use HDR (tonempping really) every time you open RAW image and adjust the brightness and contrast.
There is no problem with HDR, only bad HDR. With good HDR, you dont even know it was used, just like a good special effect in a movie.
