My whole life, my goldminer grandfather took me gold mining deep in the northern California hills and mountains. There’s stuff like this all over up there from the 1869 gold rush, from smal sluice boxes all the way to 20 foot tall steam engines, left to rot for 150 years. It’s awesome.
